Like that in Encrypted I, Encrypted II are a series of three digital prints in response to theme encryption. The final visuals are derived from details of scanned fingerprints. Through the use of digital manipulation and further play on composition a new abstract of the original matter was created. Encrypted II is not only an encryption of the subject matters elemental properties, but also of the individuals' mark of identity. Aesthetically these prints take more of a minimal approach than that seen in Encrypted I. Working with the purity of line, the compositions create a sense of ongoing flow, with no presence, nor need of focus.
